Precision BioSciences Scales Claude Cowork Adoption Across the Enterprise with Trackmind's AI Foundations Program

How Trackmind's hands-on AI Foundations and Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) program turned Claude access into organization-wide AI fluency.

Impact at a Glance

  • Claude Cowork adoption scaled across the enterprise following Trackmind's enablement program
  • Greater than 90% of the organization trained, with a library of reusable use case patterns now in daily use across teams
  • Improved operational efficiency by helping teams reach the results they need faster
  • Strengthened organization-wide confidence in Claude and AI
  • Established a forward-deployed engineer model that continues to surface and automate new workflows across departments

Background

Precision BioSciences is a biotech company developing new treatments for serious diseases, built on its own proprietary gene-editing platform. It is complex, document-heavy work, and the team handles a steady stream of research, reporting, and internal and external updates. Precision BioSciences had already made Claude available across the organization and recognized its potential to support this work. Seeking to build an AI-enabled organization and turn access into operational fluency, the company partnered with Trackmind to build AI foundations through structured training, practical frameworks, and hands-on enablement.

The Challenge

The goal was to build AI fluency and literacy across departments so teams felt comfortable using Claude Cowork and could integrate it into their daily workflows in a meaningful way. While making Claude available was an important first step, access alone did not automatically change how work got done. To maximize Claude's impact, Precision BioSciences needed to ensure its people were truly AI fluent, giving them the confidence to identify high-value opportunities and apply AI effectively in their everyday work.

The Solution

To build true fluency, Trackmind delivered its AI Foundations program, a hands-on training initiative designed to give Precision BioSciences teams a practical, shared baseline. The program opened with a modern AI landscape overview grounded in AI-Enabled thinking (adding AI to existing workflows to accelerate everyday work), followed by a hands-on tour of Claude Cowork interface setup and features. Participants engaged in guided, scenario-based exercises covering core use cases like internal content, data analysis, and operational dashboards while mastering proven prompting techniques through the RISE framework. Crucially, the training established a framework for building trust in AI, teaching teams to recognize optimal application areas, spot warning signs, and avoid common pitfalls. When these interactive sessions surfaced more automation opportunities than training alone could address, Trackmind embedded a forward-deployed engineer directly with internal teams to build out custom, high-value automations.

The Outcome

Through Trackmind's AI enablement program, more than 90% of the organization was trained on Claude Cowork, with active usage spanning teams. Beyond training coverage, teams developed the AI literacy and human-in-the-loop practices needed to apply Claude confidently to daily business tasks. Today, Trackmind continues to serve as a trusted advisor, embedding a forward-deployed engineer to help Precision BioSciences build custom Claude Skills that standardize core processes and scale institutional knowledge across new use cases. Building on that AI-Enabled foundation, Trackmind continues to work with Precision BioSciences on the next step: AI-first approaches that redesign select workflows around AI.

"Making Claude available was just the first step. Partnering with Trackmind allowed us to build true AI fluency across our departments, empowering our teams to confidently integrate AI into their daily workflows in a meaningful, high-impact way."
