By nature, Ferment is a company that blends art and science to power the creation of new companies developing on its synthetic biology platform. Portraying the brand identity through the beauty of nature and biology using petri dish art not only reflected that blend of art and science, but also created a connection to the parent company, Ginkgo Bioworks.
In the website development phase, we translated the final website design into a set of beautiful, responsive web pages suited for desktop, then reworked the design to enhance the mobile experience even further. Each step of the way, we carefully crafted each brand element to suit multiple screen sizes, ensuring that the end user would have a beautiful experience regardless of the device that brought them to the Arcaea website.
