Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance PowerShell scripts and modules.
- Utilize version control systems, primarily Git, to manage codebase.
- Integrate and manipulate data from various sources, including REST APIs.
- Apply deep knowledge of the Windows Operating System for script optimization and troubleshooting.
- Utilize SQL for database management and data retrieval tasks.
- Manage and deploy code through NuGet repositories.
- Collaborate with data science teams, employing scripting and visualization tools to provide insightful data analysis.
- Understand and contribute to enterprise IT operations, ensuring scripts and tools align with business needs and infrastructure.
- Work within a team environment, contributing to peer code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Pester for PowerShell code testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Skills in additional programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience in ServiceNow development.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of PowerShell development experience.
- Proven experience with version control, preferably Git.
- Experience with REST API integration.
- Thorough understanding of Windows OS internals.
- Practical experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with NuGet repositories.
- Basic knowledge of data science principles and visualization tools.
- Understanding of enterprise IT operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
